Exploring the Future with Generative AI @ CEG, Anna University

On April 25, 2025, the Department of CSE, Anna University, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch, hosted a dynamic seminar on Generative AI & Foundation Models at the historic College of Engineering, Guindy. Led by experts from Object Automation System Solutions Pvt. Ltd., the sessions covered transfer learning, NLP for GenAI, RAG, and multimodal AI, blending theory with real-world applications. Spearheaded by Dr. V. Mary Anita Rajam and Dr. T. Sree Sharmila, the event engaged faculty, scholars, and students in insightful discussions and hands-on learning. A step forward in understanding the technologies reshaping our future—from ethics to deployment.
