The Inaugural function of Three-day International Workshop on “India Vision on Chip Design and GenAI” (29-07-24 to 31-07-24) conducted by Department of ECE and IT in collaboration with C-DAC, IBM Open Power and Object Automation on 29-07-24 at 9.30 AM. This event aimed to explore the cutting-edge advancements in AI and their applications in agent development as well as Chip design. We were honoured to have two distinguished Chief Guests. Dr. D. Sudarsan, Executive Director of C-DAC, Bangalore, shared his invaluable insights on the future of Chip Design and AI, emphasizing that "Innovation in AI and Chip design is not just about creating smart machines, but about enhancing human capabilities and solving real-world problems." Dr. Ganesan Narayanasamy, Founder, CEO, and Distinguished Lecturer at the University of California, also graced the event with his presence. He inspired the attendees with his profound knowledge, stating, "Generative AI is poised to revolutionize the way we develop intelligent agents, driving us towards a future where machines can think, learn, and evolve autonomously." This workshop provided a unique platform for researchers, students, and professionals to engage with these AI pioneers, exchange ideas, and gain practical knowledge on generative AI technologies. The sessions were filled with enlightening discussions, hands-on activities, and networking opportunities, making it a memorable and impactful event for all participants.
